UGH. Its right under my chin, just above my throat and I first felt it about 2 weeks ago. The Dr. said its still fairly small, and I haven't been sick lately or anything. Since I have to go for my yearly thyroid nodule ultrasound anyway, she wants them...

Now, that's not to say that you have thyroid cancer... .
My dr didn't do any tests and I went a year without being told I had cancer .
I pretty much the same advise when I was first diagnosed with Graves .

Does anyone know what sort of symptoms can arise from thyroid nodules that are fairly large, yet seem to have no affect on the various hormone numbers? And how would one approach a doctor about it if their numbers were normal, yet they didn't feel good...
