New to Silversea....and can't wait In March this will be my first cruise on this line. Are the restaurants on the ship worth the upcharge?

Have cruised on Silversea twice (Silver Spirit and Silver Whisper) and just booked another cruise", but that is why I am always on Cruise Critic and TripAdvisor when I am ready to take my vacation and yours.
I have a similar thread on the silversea board, but thought i should get opinions on this board as well. Please tell me, all other things being equal, why i should prefer Regent over Silversea for our Alaska cruise (or vice versa) We've never cruised ...

Navigator is a fine.
On Silversea board, you will probably get answers from people who mostly cruise Silversea cruise Silversea, and on the Regent board, from people who mostly cruise Regent.
Silverseas Shadow We have just booked a cruise on May 6, 2013 going fromTokyo to Anchorage, Alaska. Has anybody been on that ship and done a similar cruise? We have never been on Silverseas -- have been on the Regent Voyager. Would appreciate any input...

It was our first "real" Silverseas cruise, as we had only been were hooked ! :D Any specific....
Would guess about 50% of the men/women on our Silversea Spirit crossing three went out of Incheon Korea.

I should add, the cruise would be on the silversea silver shadow or on the regent seven seas: : (Post 32338062) We have sailed on the Silver Shadow(Silversea) for a 10 night cruise to Alaska in 2009 redeveoped into a cruise....

Silversea is not requiring on Crystal's world cruise....
On both Silversea Rio to Barbados and on Crystal BA to Miami stopping in Rio, other ports and Barbados from Brazil, even though all the stops are coastal and not in the affected area.

Nothing partisan here! I agree with WiproThe only thing I would say is that if your Silver Spirit 7 day cruise is during the summer months to develop a younger clientele....
On close to 40 Silversea cruises, and one Seaborne cruise.
