In the battle rounds when they kicked off better singers just because they were old and the judges couldn't that work for a solo singer and yet they choose the most complicated effort going.

Amongst all the negative threads on here today, I haven't seen anyone mention Emeli yet. Did anyone else enjoy her performance on Sunday ? I thought she was great - a real class act and I love her voice.

Back to the OP, yes Emeli Sande is just brilliant and a great live singer! I thought Emeli was fantastic.
But I agree it was a bad perfromance from her...at least she didn't mime though..

Lip-synching: Your opinions please??
I feel that the singer can lip synch to some parts of the song whenever absolutely necessary and practical...
e.g. I would not have expected Queen to actually sing the "I see a little silhouetto of a man... Scaramouche...
