Hi, I have uploaded some files to a directory under public and I try to access them using Dir.glob. But I get no results back.
The Dir.glob works fine on dev server (mongrel) and also works fine when using script/console on the site installed on site5...

valid in site5:
Dir.glob('files....
My guess is that executing a shell is prohibited by site5 or that you don't have access to /bin/sh on the site hosted by site5 I need to skip it.

What do you guys think about Site5?
I need hosting only for now, my domains need to stay at godaddy for now (i just registered them few weeks ago and can't transfer them yet), but i will transfer domains...

We had a reseller account at Site5 long time ago of their websites are on wordpress.
Media Temple is a bit different than Site5 and HostGator, in that they don't offer a reseller I want my account to be very reliable and fast.

You are on a shared hosting, cant have a exclusive IP, this its not site5 related problem, dont blame them.
Do you want a exclusive IP? Buy a dedicated server...
