I want a simple way to let my user pick there clothing size before buy but Configurable Product seems like to much overkill. you have to make a product of every size and then you have to make a configurable product.

There you can define a drop-down for your size to re-create the size options....
Product, as you know, is a "meta" product that groups all of the (Crew Neck Shirt-Some Color-Some Size a look at the Custom Options tab on the left side.

I think he started wearing 3-6.
My LO can wear some 0-3 still but he usually runs pretty true to size.
He's 4.5 months now and starting to outgrow some of the 3-6 month clothing.
At about 2.5 months.

Set up a search on ebay for the exact shirt. Save it, and ebay will email you if someone lists the shirt. There's a chance that you'll find it that way at some point!

She's also....
3T pants for length and 2T or 24m Tops with size 7/8 shoes! DD just turned 2 and wearing 3t/4t in pants and 3T in shirt very tall and chubby :) size 8/8.5 shoes My DD wore to not be as long on her.
And 2T depending on the brand.

I typically only buy one size ahead.
When I was thinking about it a month ago I would have bought 2T as she was in size.
