The trails were hard so no real damage was done but I am worried about the backlash consequences be damned.

Just purchased an 05 summit from a guy that was doing only trail riding. It's got narrow
trail skis on it and I will need to upgrade the skis.

We are planning a first trip to Breck April 3-8. With 3 kids (11-17), we want a ski in/out location for lunch and breaks. As we look at details, we see that some are ski in but walk out (I guess that would work, too) We are all advanced intermediate skiers...
