Skype is horrible on the phone. It's perfect on my iPad, so Internet isn't the issue, but on the evo the audio is terrible. Anyone else having this problem ?

Option 1: get on skype with someone and spectate experience, skype calls with 2 players end up silent a majority of the time.
Or more in voice chat, though, life gets good.

Hey there,
Have you spoken to your community welfare officer? I think they are able to give one-off payments for exceptional circumstances. Perhaps give your local health office a bell as well and see if you can get an appointment with one of their doctors...
