It's a free software and I find it very usefull .

My game runs fine when I'm not on skype, but when I run LoL and skype I will occasionally get lag spikes.
Anybody know any fixes besides "don't run skype lul"

On average, Skype uses between 3-16 kilobytes/sec depending Potentially a program like netlimiter used on skype could prevent it from using too much bandwidth.

I was wondering why the forums does not use it's own chat (not IRC) but built in. Like the chat bar on facebook I think that it looks good on facebook and stays out of the way. As for copyright/legal mumbo jumbo there are always clones around

Chris It is not possible to use Skype onboard ship.
Video chat as many as 5 or 6 pipes for a trip of say 6 weeks.
Audio chat, like skype takes up about 2-3 pipes full time.
