The baby will sleep in our room for the first 3-ish like I'll get more sleep if I can just reach over & feel the newbie breathing or open one eye & check that opens into our bedroom....
Him/her to eat at night (after a week or so) .
I am just curious as to where everyones baby is sleeping. LO is 4 weeks old. He was sleeping really well in his bassinet but it seems like he doesn't want to sleep that long in there anymore. He won't sleep longer than maybe 30 minutes in his actual crib...

I'm trying to not let LO sleep in her swing or bouncy seat I just can't do the 2 hour thing.
During the day she doesn't seem to sleep for very long in there but at night she goes 4-6 hours at a time.
My LO sleeps in her bassinet.

Did your baby sleep in same room with you the first year? My baby is due in 8 weeks and Im so excited. I heard that if they sleep in the same room (in their crib) they will get really attached. But they wake up so much the 1st 3-6 months, and we only ...

Hi, I am not due until June, but I am researching bassinets, cribs, etc. I would like to know where your baby is sleeping and how s/he likes it. I read a lot of posts about problems with cranial molding, so I wanted to hear from you.

So....
He prefers to sleep flat so he gets used to being still.
In this: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10946103 I like it because it has an incline option (better than the rock n play, in my opinion), or a flat surface.
I am thinking about the different options for our baby's first few months of sleep. I'm torn between a bassinet or crib in our room or just putting him/her to sleep in their own room from the start. There are pros and cons to both. Thoughts? What did ...

At about a year old, I started....
At 5 months, he was too heavy for the bassinet and rolling over, so it wasn't safe any more waking (like 12 times a night for no reason) and out of sheer exhaustion she started sleeping with us.
To sleep.

I had a night like, too.
Hope you can get some sleep yourself, despite the stuff going on in your head.
My baby is now almost 3 months. I know there is still a SIDS risk, but for some reason she likes to wiggle herself so her face is smooshed into the wall of the bassinett. I know this cuts down on air circulation. However, she is pretty strong and can ...

I think this would be just fine.
Be in the bassinett as part of the stroller? Obviously, I can see her the whole time, and I like that she can sleep her the whole time, and I like that she can sleep flat.
My baby normally sleeps in the crib. We used to use the PNP when she was younger in hotels, etc. I will be traveling with her again when she'll be about 15-16 months. What do you do these situations? Would she be too big for the Graco PNP? My thinking...

Ours....
Good to know! Ever concerned about the baby being able to crawl out the bassinet level after they can sit up.
My PNP holds up to thirty pounds and my daughter could still sleep in it at that age even being off the charts for height.
