So I had sleep paralysis last night (or this morning, I suppose). That was weird. I've only had it a few times before, mostly in the last year. I've noticed it only happens if I go to sleep when I'm really tired or sleep deprived.

For those of you who don't know, Sleep Paralysis is a state of being "awake" but "asleep" at the same time.
When you go into REM Sleep, your body goes through atonia, which is a state of low muscle tone. That's the "Paralysis" part.

You may of slipped into a hypnogogic state between the stages of sleep of it a little quicker.
This is referred to as sleep paralysis and this could of been what you pulled back though.
That caused you to become paralyzed.
