Definitely worth borrowing a carrier or sling I reckon.
We changed our parenting style completely when we had DS; more for first 4 weeks and then a mix after that .
Sling/carrier only for DS.

I think they are £60 new but ebay is great? The material is lovely a strong neck so not too worried about it! I had a Close sling with Iris and loved it too - she fell! I have a baby bjorn carrier face....
