Can you make slow-cooker recipes even if you dont have a slow-cooker? maybe on the stove top on in the oven? i have too much small appliances for the small space already.
the italian beef and shredded beef recipes for the slow cooker looks really good...

Yes!!! You can switch it up.
You can do it on the stove top at low heat or in the oven at 200-250 degrees .
A crock pot uses low heat for a long period of time .

If I can just use my oven or cooktop (cos I'm home most days), do I really need a slow cooker? I know things will cook faster and so the meat may not be as tender, etc, but still, is there really that much of an advantage?
