I recently read a couple of articles about "cut" and slug rounds made from cheap 12ga birdshot shells. Seemed like a fun experiment with potentially useful results, so I thought I'd try my own take and see what could be learned.
I started with a box of...

Bore ...

How accurate "should" slugs be from a smooth bore?
Mine consistently puts 3 shots in a 5" circle at 50 yards, with a mod choke and Walmart bulk Winchester Super X 1oz rifled slugs. Is this good, bad, or average?

He doesn't want it on the powder but wants only the powder with the slug affixed to the front diameter to shoot through a rifled barrel, buy a NEI .534-570 mold or one of Accurate Molds designs shotcups to act as sabots.
