I want to start a small balcony garden, (ok about 2 or 3 plants) can I grow pumkins? or space to limited? Balcony is about 3-1/2 x 5 ft but only want to dedicate 3-1/2 x 2. I was thinking the pot would be low to the balcony so the vine can spread a little...

A better idea would be to plant something that has an upright... .
Pumpkin vine take up a huge amount of space.
It will look nice plus it will save space.
If you have compounds you can keep pots over there, it will consume space, and spread creepers in trees .
I would love to grow some veg.. the balcony is small.. probably 5 x 5 foot? (my feet, my feet are small!) Is there much I could grow? Or should I buy one of those small tiered greenhouses? Would love to grow some lettuce/kale/spinach/ herbs?!

I've seen where people have used loungers on their extended aft balconies. Are these standard for each balcony or do you have to request one from the room steward?

Enjoy your balcony but don't camp balcony will be "better" for the Southbound portion of the cruise if one side is truly "better you go wrong.

Peas grow quickly.
All my veg is being done in baskets and pots .
Also, radish grows in pots or baskets on the balcony.
We were small - all brightly coloured flowers that grew quite quickly afair.
