I have experienced server mergers before and it's not such a big deal.
One small tip might be to "reserve" a name on Burlok as soon as possible as your current name on Makaisson might be taken over there.
Lucky for me I created "Burlok-Ghostwind" day ...

I cant seem to relax up there when any bumps or swinging. I guess being somewhat scared of heights doesn't help.
I feel better down lower at 500' and less as well. I really enjoy it up there when its calm calm, but that usually doesn't happen to often...
