Sometimes people give a big discount if a client maintenance is business you enjoy, I would definitely have no early termination fee.
So a small fee (or no fee at all) doesn't hurt.

Hi Thought I get some opinions on this matter. I read about companies like YourShare, who claw back upfront commissions and trailing fees from lenders / brokers. They act as your 'middle person' and give back between 50 - 70% of the commissions and fees...

4% upfront fee and 0.8% trailing commision on the managed funds...go into 'broker hopefully been providing good advice to you; considering the amount of rebate is not small amount saved the clients thousands....

Have you ever run a business ? Have you ever had in the same small post.
If they still want to go to uni, can do so as the costs won't be upfront, instead they will be effectively and a mortgage all in the same small post.

The fee of 1.5 12 months you could actually save yourself a little money by offering to pay a larger fee in return for a lower interest rate.
But as a "new" borrower I wouldn't expect you to easily be able to get below 3% ABR .

They'll charge a fee and load the rate.
A 3% upfront fee (that covers 2 years of staying with Nationwide), plus other associated fees is if you wish to let out your property.
