Let's face it, what politician is going to eliminate their own jobs as well as that of their friends? Should the public at large simply accept the fact that it is futile to expect the government of any country to get smaller and cut costs significantly...

This is more of a question for me since I don't know much about US politics (I'm not American) but it's clearly not going to have a definitive answer.
Reading some other threads I've begun to wonder this. I often hear Republicans say they want less government...

Help me pick a smaller EDC? I currently have a Taurus Judge Public Defender with a polymer body. It's a fine gun but I'm discovering it's a bit cumbersome.
