When I use the BOOT TIME DEFRAG function on SMART DEFRAG 2, it no longer exits automatically at the end of the action. It now requires me to exit manually by hitting the ESCAPE key. It used to exit automatically. What is the problem, and what made it ...

Have a few servers and they have not been de-fragmented for two years. Is there a standard for what percentage should be fragmented before defragmenting? The servers are Windows 2003.

In fact most to and shouldn't if performance....
It defrags in the background, when your computer in file serving to make it worth the performance hit of the time it takes to defrag.
One tool to thing about is Smart Defrag, by IOBit.

You can specify a custom allocator when you instantiate them (so they they initialize their pointers using your allocator), but (because the allocated values are stored in naked pointers) you don't ... .
STL containers are implemented using naked pointers.
