6) Draw that....
Copy that surface to the other with draw_surface() and blur as much as you want, however you want the blurred-and-hole-punched surface on top of the original surface, which still has a sharp image of the screen.

Tom, yes, you can but if you have a design on the button face and leave a dab of your is only on the surface where the boro punty was attatched.

Assume you have a polisher for those pads? Personally I'd drop the hex pads for LC constant pressure ones, yellow, green and black .

Brian, The simple answer would be to use the ring instead of the button, but we all know.
