Try putting a 32 strand set....
- The D hit it.
They cost a good deal less than in the center for outstanding tracking and are ideal for rock music and metal snare drums.
A noticeable difference in sensitivity and snap on my brass snare.

What's up (again)!
Sorry to post another question!! But how do I add white noise to the snare every time the snare sounds?

Rather simple" soundchaining, the noise gets louder....
Or just find a sample, cut it up and drag it to each snare hit.
Possibly keep separate that can produce white noise.
Make a blasty white noise hit and mix it in with your snare, resample.

Dynamic mics aren't usually that hot...
That you're having that issue with a dynamic mic designed for snare.

Hey guys, I was experimenting with a 16" bassdrum (a floor tom that I converted to a bassdrum).
You can also see my new 14"x4" birch custom (without 'absolute') snare. It has the maple custom cube-lugs and sounds amazing.

Last year I broke down and bought myself a Ludwig snare, after so many on this site gave them such high praise. I picked up a Ludwig 14 x 6.5 Hammered Black Beauty. This thing was perfect right out of the box. It has been set up on my Monster, since I...

Comparing Memphis Drum Shop vids of the two showed me the clear Black Beauty over a $1500 spun brass... .
I'd take a $500 Black Beauty over a $1500 spun brass snare snare from Joyful Noise, personally.
Of the 20's-era Black Beauty snares.

Yeah, my snare body is normally right smack at 200Hz.
It depends from snare to snare around 200/240.
Processing it, along with other snares is pretty standard fare.

I get many PM's from young trappers wanting to know the easiest way to snare a coyote, fox, and/or 'coon.
Go-unders or dig outs under fences are one of the easiest ways to catch all three.
I personally like the bottom of the snare on or just above the...

Then I just decide be an illegal set....
, right here in Ohio.
I like the snare snare parts, (except Gregerson locks)from Sterling Fur Co.
Good point on checking regs.
I drool every time I walk past one.
Be perfect for this set.
