I picked up AEG's Mercenaries yesterday, and it includes a feat called Improved Sneak Attack:
Improved Sneak Attack [General]
You can make exceptionally precise and lethal sneak attacks.
Prerequisites : BAB +2 or higher, ability to make sneak attacks....

I am not even aware that there are forms of sneak attack that deal d4s in damage 15 4d6's become 4d8's
A 15th level rogue would deal 32d8's of sneak attack damage.

Ranged attacks can count as sneak make....
The spell doesn't do damage when it hits a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied.
sneak attack with a fireball in Pathfinder.

There are a ton of enemies immune to Sneak Attack.
You only have to worry if he starts steamrolling your encounters .
To trigger his sneak attack (preferably more than once per round).

With parry and riposte hopefully getting fixed, the "path hand for example, and it gives... .
They are the most ninja-like of any profession imo so concealment and sneak attack should fit with their toolset.
