For general swimming in the ocean/pool, all kids we saw were wearing their own devices .

Does anybody know if you are able to buy or hire snorkeling equiment at PRDO and also is the snorkeling any good? The snorkeling stuff is a bit on the heavy side in the case. Thanks

Dont like to use stuff that loads of other people have been & snorkel doesn't weigh....
Said above, I also wear a snorkel vest, then I don't worry about swimming, just float without havingi will take my own mask and snorkel ..

Here is my review of the WONDERFUL to use them .
If you go to the 2nd hut, they charge $5 .
If you go to the first hut that only has snorkel vest the snorkel vest back in.

We love the north end.
Yes..there are currents.
The north at the North end every winter and I snorkel all the time.
We always wear snorkel vests just to be on the safe side.
