What is the purpose of the vest?
I bought DH Silicone fins, mask and snorkel. He has never snorkelled before?

A different type of vests for this trip, scubapro snorkel cruiser vests.

Does anyone own the Leisure Pro orange snorkeling vest? (The cheapest one they have for $24). Any luck with it or does it even work good? I know several people on here order stuff from Leisure Pro and was just wondering.
We are thinking about buying these...

Has anyone ever booked a snorkeling adventure through the cruise line, and then taken your own snorkeling gear on the tour boat? Do they allow you to do that or would they prefer you use their mask and snorkel?

snorkel & vest for the obvious reason and my mask is properly fitted for me and has corrective lensesWe take all but fins and vests.

Hello, My wife and two children (ages 7&5) are going to be porting here next week for a day. I'm looking at options to rent flotation vests, goggles, fins and snorkles on the island to avoid having to buy and carry them on our cruise for this one day....

Eden Rock is a very nice snorkel....
Not sure if you just want to do your own thing in that case .
We snorkel there and only pay equipment for little ones including vests.
Involved and it is a short walk from where the ships are anchored .

I would recommend a vest, snorkelling vests are different than, I have no idea how I convinced my parents to buy the first mask & snorkel I saw, but they did buy a life vest,....
