A good PhD program will prepare you to step directly, there is a difference....
PHD as well - I already have a MA in a social science field, and have been working in the field in Social Work does NOT require licensure.

I'm a Ph.D student in the social sciences. I think I will stay and finish my program as I don't have that much left to go, but I would prefer to get a job in industry instead of being a professor. The one thing I always go back to and that I really enjoy...
