Hi everyone,
I am currently finishing up a MS in Human Services . I am planning on going to school again to get my MSW and become a LCSW, but I discovered a program near me that is a five-year joint MSW/PhD degree. I'm curious what your thoughts are about...

PhD in Social Work does NOT require licensure.
PHD as well - I already have a MA in a social science field, and have been working in the field your specific school for criteria.

I can't think of one PhD program where someone I know didn't get both tuition and a stipend.
Even a friend who is becoming an MD/PhD has his school paid for and is paid a stipend for his PhD research side of things.
Can you name one? Is it law?

I know someone who paid for a phd in Political Science and one person (a social science) the top 30ish programs will pay all tuition + stipend
Somewhere around rankings 31-50ish your money out there.....
