Recent ethical questions brought this to my forefront. Consider: Are we individuals to be used, directed, educated and shaped to a certain pattern by society and government; or does society exist for the sake of the individual to express itself?

I would think some phone calls should be made to city officials if the board of directors will not address why strays are being turned away from the humane society. And it seems the current staff needs some customer service training on how to be couteous...
