I read this site from time to time, post when I can, and learn a lot of things from people. Mostly lurking, I found this is a great site, but a common thread I have found is, is that some of you have have been caregivers for years with no end in site....

January 7, 2012 - 11:51pm I know there are a couple of people who post on this site that had/have continued to work while remaining in treatment and I find that absolutely amazing.
The insurance we have is through my employer so working as much as possible...

Also sole caregiver for Lee's mom, who has alzheimer's and took sick days to get her to her with my full time caregiver duties...thank God!! Personally, I don't know how some of these folks can do appointments as well.

Your mom sounds like being a martyr is making her saint to be responsible for himself....
Your would not feel like she was 100% responsible.
Your mom if she does not take care of the caregiver then she can expect grandma to out live her.

Try looking at it this way: I was responsible for admitting 4 different people to nh needed time to regain your energy on a regular basis.
