My question is, can I gradually work my way off Job Seekers Allowance by starting and running a sole trader type small business, if so does anyone have any guidelines that would be useful to me? Any advice would be great. I have been off work...

It seems logical for the ceased sole trade that assets and liabilities should be zero at the end.
I'd love to know this too I've a similar issue with a sole trade cessation but I'm not an accountant.

Inc what you mean by limited....
LLC is just now catching on in America.
If you're in Ireland you'll either be a sole trader or go down - is that now what you mean by limited as opposed to sole trader.
LLC is an American concept.
