I need help writing lyrics for an original song.
I've made no progress at all yet, and this is my first time attemptin to write a song.
Does anyone have tips to writig a song? Or could anyone suggest topics or somethig to write about?

I stopped playing about 10 years ago and picked it up again within the last year..Had a lot of songs I had written a while ago and relearned them all..Now on to writing some new stuff..I find myself coming up with something new almost every other day....

Jayne I've found myself coming up with another song as I'm writing one.
If it's more of a pop song look for catchy phrases, rthyms and and rhymes offered there.
Were writing an essay.

I seem to have problems writing full songs.
I've come up with a bunch of riffs and recorded them, but i don't know how to move on and create full songs out of it.
First of all i have no idea how to make a decent drumtrack that fits with the other instruments...

It's all a matter of finding what gets you inspired, mate .
