As you just started your less prone to doms Muscle soreness does not equal muscle growth.

However general soreness shouldn't be confused with DOMS.
You will have soreness have to DOMS, personally I am big time.
Are experiencing DOMS but this will subside in a short time if you keep exercising.

If i am already sore, I like a short slow to wind down and I'm much less sore the next day.
That helps curb the soreness from even starting.
