For me, it lessens/removes the muscle soreness for at least that day the next day - esp.
This will happen with any routine even when you're sore..
DOMS refers to delayed onset muscle soreness just for clarification.

Hey all
I decided to pretend I am a big boy and did a leg session with 2 big fellas at my gym and went with whatever weights/reps they did ...I got through it with a mean poker face (I was hurting as f*ck but said it was an ok workout lol)

They may be on the same continuum but muscle soreness into the muscles can help ....
DOMs is something completely different.
DOMs is something completely.
Muscle soreness, is okay though.
That you should actively try to avoid.

OK, this is a first.
In all my years of weightlifting I've never had DOMS in my forearms. And I'm not talking the top part, I'm talking the underside.
Holy Carp they hurt.

Running off DOMs
Expected to play footy at 8 tonight, but my legs are fucking killing after squats on Monday. I'm fucking dreading it. I'm after some words of encouragement as I'm hoping it'll run off within the 1st few minutes.

On the saturday i trained legs, was an awesome workout was feeling really sore afterwards (In a good way)

On the saturday hit them extensions and leg curls
Feel a bit better now, i think nothing to worry about, just some bad DOMS.

In a book I'm reading it says soreness is a good sign as it indicates that youve broken the muscle fibre and now it will grow back stronger than ever. Or bigger. That if t isn't sore you probably haven't worked it hard enough.
First off: is this true?...

Those of you that have been working out regularly for a while now, do
you still experience DOMS? I feel like I push myself pretty hard but
