You don't mention what guitar this is, whether you're using a soundhole or onboard pickup (i assume you're not using a mic) .

Bryant I used to play a Telecaster with flat wound strings through a Roland AC 30 and....
It has me later Wow !! That sounds great.
Advantage is that it uses acoustic guitar strings, so its sound is very much like an acoustic.

I bought a used Taylor 816ce off a local CL seller, and when I played it at his house, it sounded, what I heard, pretty good. When I brought it home, I started playing it, and to me, I just don't hear that "bright" Taylor sound that I'm used to hearing...

Bright sounding strat it seems that it would be best to get a strat made out of wood combinations that would make it as bright as possible, then dial off the extra treble with the tone controls.
this seems better than a mellower wood combination.

If you exposing randomly generated strings or strings with data encoded in them (Product keys). Is it irrational to sanitize them for curse words to avoid the client possibly getting offended in the rare case an offensive word is generated.

If you must have random ....
Don't generate random strings to numbers as well.
Don't optimise digits, but then you're not likely to know/filter those curses anyway .
string can think of more things they find offensive than you can sanitise.
