I just moved to Greenville from the midwest and I'm still kind of going through culture shock. Being in the bible belt I'm amazed to find even the pagan community that does exist here, although it still pales in comparison to the southern IL, northeast Missouri scene. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not stumbling upon Widdershin's until recently although I have been up to Asheville a couple of times. source

For the last 2 years, I have go into the season thinking SC could be a sleeper team in the SEC. They always start out well, but peter out at the end of the season. They have the talent, but the consistency has not been there. The loss of Norwood will probably hurt their defense too. source

There really isn't much in SC, but there is a good bit that is a short tow away. Harlan Ky, River Rock GA, Morris Mountain AL, Grey Rock AL, Windrock TN, and many others. Sure it could take 4-10 hours but it is great wheeling and there are quite a few of us around that go. source

You know, that UN ranking is really not so much as a pat on the back as a list of statistics. I don't think anyone has actually made the argument that we should be more like the Haitians. Besides, what exactly should the United Nations' statisticians do when they make that list? It isn't like there's a subjective component to it. source
