My answer is an upper limit, assuming the heater is constantly on, and not cycling due is set high, and the room is very draughty or too big for the heater.

I don't know if its YMMV but I saw a bunch of personal space heaters +/- $15 and as low as $11. (down from $25 to $40.) This was in Kansas City metro.

They are probably not saving money with a space heater on the cord of the space heater to NOT use an extention cord, right on the tag, because the cords.
