I'm getting ready to change out my suspension front and rear. I've done my research (tons of info here &120) but I'm wondering if you guys have any tricks or special tools that you use to make the job go a little smoother.

I appreciate the tips, thanks air tools will help break open has less than 25k miles on it so I'm cautiously....

The genuine tools for undoing the Power Torque crank pins are expensive.
You can make your own out of a couple of ordinary sockets for around $20 each. I used 3/8 sockets as thats the set i mainly use and thats what my torque...

Finally received all of my new suspension for the wagon but upon reading some how to threads, there are some suggestions about using special tools (yes the ones i.d. Parts recommended i purchase, but didnt) are any of these tools absolutely necessary ...

Got mine through KD tools and then found one in my tool box I madeI did a suspension re-fresh earlier....
I had the tools needed none of the sets seem to have.
You get what you pay for.
But renting/owning Davebugs tool is worth it.
