Hello, so can anyone tell me how these visits are different from regular visits?
I'm in TN and drive up to see my man just about every three months and just heard about "special visits" and was told they are 4 hours long and in a room just the one(s) ...

You'll need to tell them when privileges if you....
You have to contact the prison about 2 weeks prior you have to initiate the process tho by requesting the special visit.
A special visit but it must be arranged ahead of time.

I am trying to plan a trip to see my Husband, but won't be able to go until July, it will make it a year since myself or our son has seen him. The facility he is at he is allowed 12 visitation points per month. It equals three days per month. I am wondering...

I think that would have only been 9 points of the 10 allowed, but it will be explained in the visitor... .
My LO had requested extra when we went to visit last July cuz he is granted 10 each month and his got approval to also visit on Sunday.

In bakerville va and he said in order to get a special visit there he has to talk to his counselor and fill out a form with my name and address on it and the reason for the special visit.

It's sort of a "day in the life" of what it's like when a President comes to town if you aren't really seeing him! I enjoyed all the parade floats and as always, anytime DHS fireworks are shown.

Last year they also had special fireworks for Last Tour to Endor have photos from Hillary Clinton'....
The fireworks are generally shown on the 4th of July and New Years Eve .
This is a special event as they only have fireworks twice a year.
