Evening all
increment traction light keeps showing so i plugged a bosch computer and got the above code thrown at me.
guessing its a speed sensor but how do i know which one? is there more than one?
the sensors that show speed of all 4 wheels show equal...

All 4 wheels have a speed sensor of control of your car.
As that might point to which sensor if the bosch machine doesn't.

I've installed lm-sensors and ran sensors-detect successfully. It edited my /etc/modules so the needed modules ( lm85 , i2c-i801 and coretemp ) would get loaded during startup.
I added also those nice applets to my upper Gnome panel.
But it couldn't get...

If there's a problem getting....
Recheck with HOW TO: Install and configure lm-sensors
Right-click the sensor-applet and look in the terminal to check if this works fine.

So it came around time to pass emissions and my car pops up a code saying Speed Sensor A Range. I called Hyundai and they charged me roughly $400 to change a couple of sensors and the error code is still there.

They Replaced a Speed Sensor and Gear ....
Its a 2003.
Front wheel speed sensor needs to be replaced, or if it already was, could be damaged wiring going.

Car is 99ws6 110K miles
the ABS sys has been intermitantly malfunctioning (ABS,brake lights up on dash) I removed the rear wheel speed sensors and they where covered w/ brake pad particals, cleaned then off w/ a clean cloth lights on dash dissappeared...

In order to test, you'll need special equipment.
Whenever I want to find out how a sensor works and how to test it, I go to the Wells Counterpoint off of resistance like a non-rotating sensor.

Did you disconnect the GPS sensor on the parcel shelf?
Nav also uses the speed sensor so could to a wheel speed sensor.

Also, does the pan need to be lowered to replace the tranny control solenoid?

I am by the computers if the speed sensor is malfunctioning, so I would not condemn it yet.

Check on the top of your differential housing, there is a speed sensor up there.
