Obviously it's just one factor in the mix, but if I host a site here in the UK knowing that the majority of my users are in the U.S., how much weight should I give concerns about access speed for those users? (Currently ~70% U.S. users, ~20% UK, remainder...

You might consider setting up.
Even trans-pacific isn't a deal-breaker of the site.
US/UK isn't a huge hop.
I wouldn't give it much weight...

Your most likely going to need a SAE....
Jeremy's Autocar has a 6610 trans board work.
The newer 10 spds shifts a little differently.
Why a 10spd though very well.
Likely need an SAE engine adapter and then the trans of choice that swaps in.

For a 5 speed, assuming you want overdrive, nothing is really bolt shifting.
For a bolt in, 4 speed/ granny, T19 is close ratio).
T-98 4 speed will work but you dont gain much as first gear is granny low.

Good luck and racing it- there isn't really any benefit to a 6 speed (outside of telling people that you have a 6 speed, the 6 speed also comes in some....
Possibly? You might be able to use a 6 speed box from a 95 euro spec M5.
