If I catch someone, or a greatly reduced ticket....
If I catch someone in the middle of the city, on the freeway or some other road, doing 100 of nowhere doing 100, I usually cut them with a warning, or a greatly reduced ticket.

Alright.... so i was pulled over today and given a speeding ticket. Immediately after being given the ticket I pleaded my case and the officer showed me his hand held device that said "01 - warning: speeding - posted limit" but did not give me another...

I was given an actual ticket, but then he changed it on his little electronic pad to the local DPS office, if it was the DPS that gave you the ticket/warning, or the office of whom ever gave the number on the back ....
