I have decided to repot 2 spider plant containers yesterday, now I got many spider plants, makes me really understand what a root bound plant is ...anyone wants to have some, will gladly mail it out for free..US only though I dare not touch 7 more containers...

I have to keep this thread away from my cat! HE LOVES SPIDER PLANTS! He will mow them down Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Indeed, these spider plants are so at home here Had a hard time ripping them Mike my cat loves spider....

Hi. I have a large spider plant with tons of plantlets. I've tried to propagate two different plantlets at two different times by putting them in water, but the roots don't grow. They have these little nubs already that I was assuming are the beginnings...

Vegetative "breaks" like this are a common way ....
Or just a vegetative sport which will remain variegated.
Yeah I had a spider plant years ago with a reversed the parent plant.
Is and the weaker variegated elements are crowded out.
Absolutely gutted I'm pretty sure all my tomato plants have been affected by spider mites The leaves have drooped and have brown marks and some of the leaves almost look see through and I remember seeing a red spider on them thinking ooh what a cool spider...

Variegation is a very common.
Not all spider plants domestic plants have a variegated and a non-variegated version.
It is probably another type of spider plant.
Pictures speak a thousand words.
Shot this the day I got my new camera. Just playing around on the porch and saw this spider making a web on one of our plants so here we are. Any input would be greatly appreciated. P.S. If you look at it from a distance it looks like a stern eye looking...

The bright background directly behind the spider and top are major distractions though but I would like it a lot more if the spider was more to the right or left of the photo.

Spotted (Mendo) spider mite for over a year now, finally been clean for a month.
