So this is what happened- Two days earlier while copying some files, my PC just hung & i had to do a hard restart from the cabinet. but it didn't restart & showed a no signal screen on my monitor...

If yes then the fans may be getting less voltage and does the stock fans spin okay to the H80/100's ....
Does it spin if it is connected elsewhere.
I assume that you have the fans connected to pump fan controller.

The board has this epu thing, should I just try disabling it, or use power management?? This happens when using both s1 and s3 modes? The EPU thing is basically a 'green' switch .

I've adjusted my GC fan spin to 35% just in case it is hot but it remains at 70c yet it will still of the main possible reasons....
Use my keyboard and later on it will crash by itself and the same problem (fan spinning) will occur.

Stupid question time again. I have a Rotary phase converter that has a 25hp idler motor, 3 phase of coarse. With the pony motor I have (starter motor) and the direction the pony motor turns, it spins the big brutus 25 hp idler the wrong direction...

On those applications I add....
I run lots of motors way down on the RPM range .
Maybe never seen a motor built that the fan did not work in either direction.
Is this a TEFC motor? A lot of those fans don't care about the direction of rotation.
