Despite what the Prevention experts wrote, if you are out for more than 30 miles and its above 80 degrees, you will probably needs a sports drink, either manufactured or home made. It is invaluable tool for speeding up the rate of re-hydration.

If your going to drink them, swish and gargle with warm or tepid water bottles) and brush afterwards.
