The venture shield stuff is quite thick and comes as pre cut and the benefits are its half the price of venture shield and you cant see its on there as it wraps round the edges aspect, choose carefully!....
They are basically the same thing.

I have never had a heat shield on any of my shotguns and I am not into "looks only" stuff on my guns. is a heat shield really helpful on a combat/HD shotgun?

It was easier to add a $13 heat shield than change a fifty year habit.
Have you actually ever burned yourself? I like my heat shield of the time not so much.
Ok so for the 3 gun folks.

I would submit a bug report or post in the new bug section of the forums, but the in-game bug reporting is blank, and the "Report...

All specs, but survival hunters, have either:
- a self heal (good because its relative effectiveness improves when resilience increases)
- an absorption shield (good because it's not affected by 25% healing debuffs)
Death Knight: Death strike, Dark Pact...
