Hi guys, I'm interested in finding out exactly who on here has a remap on their 2.2 CTDi and still has the standard clutch and how many miles you've done since the remap? Add anymore info if you wish (what stage, driving style etc).

Still on the standard clutch, not slipping as yet now 1800 miles since stage 2 egr off map will, but they won't all last as long as those with....
Clutch lasted...
Car was at 77k-ish miles.
I do have standard clutch with the Celtic stage 1map.

Its seems like 11-52 or 12-52 would be the best but I don't see many places selling these gauges. Know any brand who makes them or suggest any others?

10-52 goes brilliant with C# for me yeah 10-52 we tune down to drop C and use ernie ball....
I've played 13's once and I was in B standard ha.
Dude I have a guitar in that tuning and I use D'Addario 13 gauge medium jazz strings they're.

Guitar standard tuning? im beginner. i dont get it when they say the standard tuning EADGBD and other letters. how to do you tune it to the letters. because i am trying to play the adam's song by blink 182 but you need to tune it differently.how?

The letters correspond to notes the strings make on.
E would be the top string, A would be second from the top and so): Guitarist The standard guitar tuning is E A D G B E.
Standard tuning is EADGBE.

What metal bands play in standard tuning? I already know Metallica, Megadeth play in standard. Slayer play in E flat tuning so that's no good.

I've been checking out some Schecter 7 strings recently and all of them have a 26.5 inch scale length . Is it possible to use standard tuning on that scale length and still be able to bend properly , or do you have to stick to a dropped tuning

I use 10-46 in standard tuning on my Loomis I dig the tension of my 26.5" Hellraiser....
Standard-tuning is fine with this scale! All in all, it's just one inch more! Even if it was like a 30" scale you could just use lighter strings.

I play in a symphometal-like band on my Ibanez sdgr SR600, also learning to play jazz. i enjoy the low sound and feeling of loosy strings.
Do you know if someone plays jazz in D standard, maybe you can recomend some jazz records to listen to...

Good strings for tuning to Standard/Drop C/Drop A? So I have a Yamaha RGX-121z (OMG, LOL, LMFAO, WTF, insert generic insult here). I have no idea what gauge strings they are but I know that when I try to tune to at least Drop C, the strings get very loose...

I'd also be skeptical.
The only thing I've heard of that's maybe similar to this is "Nashville" tuning , typically done an octave up from standard, giving an overall higher pitch and different effect.
