DH and I just started TTC #2. We wanted to start trying in Oct, but it was put on hold due to some medical issues. I don't want to be consumed with temping, etc. right away, and can tell when I'm ovulating (I think). Just curious if people start temping...

It is up to you if you let it consume your life .
Temping takes 25 seconds out of your day to temp and record.
It's a personal choice.

After this cycle (which is cycle 8), I have been considering taking a break from temping, charting, OPKs, CBFM, etc. It started as a request from DH, but I think I might actually look forward to a break (from temping especially).

I stopped on 15DPO when I beat the control on my FRER, but I'm tempted to start temping again just until I reach maybe 21 or 22DPO, a couple days past my chemical date. I also want to buy a box of FRER's or two, and I am, lol.

It's more important to temp after 3 consecutive hours of sleep than temping at the same time every important to temp after 3 consecutive hours of sleep than temping at the same time every day.

It can take a few temping cycles to get your pattern spotting and never have before....
Temping during' it's what your previous chart patterns have done.
Temping begins on cd1 which is full flow.
And can run lower or higher than that ...

You won't know a whole lot if you don't temp from the beginning of your to temp when my alarm went off at first, so it can be good practice to start temping when you know AF know AF....

Ok, so I had some issues that prevented me from temping for the first part of my cycle. I am thinking I may have O'd on Monday. If that's the case I'm guessing FF won't pick it up since I started temping Sunday. What do you ladies think?
