Anyone doing Femara/Trigger starting cycle the 1st week in Feb??
I wanted to have a few of you on my page and sorta in the same time frame....
Its my 1st attempt at druggies after 2 whole years of TTC kind of stressful but we can only hope for the best...

No but I did femara a few months back for a couple of months.

BbayDreamz..a lot of us on the Feb IUI thread are on Femara.

Naturally I O anywhere from CD 17-24+. It's so erratic and in most cases later than what my RE likes to see (anything over CD 18 isn't ideal) so I was put on Clomid. That made me O CD 16 like clockwork! We exhausted 7 rounds of that, even a few with IUI...

I had a few.
On femara I o really super early- like CD 12.
The femara had me oing like clockwork on cd or later, on clomid CD 15 or 16 usually.
I never O'd on clomid, but did every time with femara.

AF is here. Just called to schedule my baseline u/s, and should start Femara on Wednesday if the u/s is clear.
I have so many mixed emotions right now! Feeling hopeful, scared, excited, anxious, and more I can't quite name.
Mostly I'm happy to be moving...

I'm such a baby when it comes to needles. My husband laughs at me because I give him an injection twice weekly and I'm so nervous about giving myself one.
It just seems like it would be painful going into my stomach! I'm excited to get things going though...

No cysts!!! I will be starting Femara tomorrow! This will be our first IUI cycle if all goes well! I'm way more excited than I should be! :)

Anyone out there using clomid?? I am going to be starting as soon as AF shows her face... For the first time I cant wait for her to show!

I'm supposed to get AF next week so I'm hoping I don't that, my RE switched me to Femara and that was heaven!! I didn't have any side effects at all.
I wonder he'll start me on it or wait to run tests.

My first was last month, and I'm starting.
DH had a great count which make me hopeful.
It was simple and fast.
Then got my.
I did 5mg of Femara for 5 days.
I just had my first and it was so easy and pain free .

I'll be starting 5mg Femara on CD3 of my next cycle. Currently on CD23 (I think) of a 30-35 day cycle. I have to call on CD35 if I haven't started for a blood pregnancy test...if that's negative, then I get Provera to jump start it.

I had stage 2 endo dx in 2008. Laproscopic Surgery and the removed a lot of the adhesions.
My quesiton is can endo come back? How would you know? and in the other post said that femara was a better choice than clomid for endo patients. How mucy does femara...

Femara was covered by my ins.
Yes, you can pretty much bet by the symptoms progressively getting worse again .
Femara is definitely better than Clomid, but I am not sure on cost.

AF finally showed. According to the bloodwork RE ran, I did ovulate, so it was just a wonky luteal phase. I'm starting Femara tomorrow, and I think we're going to do a TI cycle this time. Our odds are really low (like 1%) but DH is tired of the treatments...
