I'm working on lowering my cholesterol and I'm wondering if any of you are using cholesterol medicines like statins. Just wondering how it affects your strength/training if at all.

Don't they (statins) lower your levels after a few months?
Why would you need to take them permanently.

It's been 2 years and 1 month since I stopped taking lovastatin. I took it for 33 days, during which time I went from an athlete to being nearly crippled.
