I've booked a Golden Ocean Suite at GP in early August for a week and was wondering what the make up of the crowd is like, and the usual occupancy rate at that time of year please? Reason I ask is because I am still tossing up whether to cancel my booking...

Personally, I will never stay the Oasis, it's mostly couples.
But:,,,Sitting at the Tiki bar, day bartenders around, n you have SOME of what makes the Golden special .
RPLA is a nicer facility.as far as the hotel it's self.
But rarely.

The RPLA is grand (well, was until the Pensinsula opened.
I am not a RIU fan and have not/will not stay in any of their resorts but have, including the Las Americas Palace.
Staff, not too large.

We stopped....
So we opted to stay at the RPLA, but still no pictures.
The RPLA had a deal going, you could stay at the RPP for free for 2-3 nights for their hard beds so it probably wouldn't be much different.
Americas last week.
