Alright so i backuped my games twice now (144 gb total) and it was successful, so i thought.
When i opened disk one there was no steambackup.exe, i tried adding one from an older backup but that one just allowed me to access the backup i took it from,...

This? you tried to restart steam? You can just use the restore wizard in Steam to restore your backupI find it easier to back up the Steam apps folder.

I actually never did any backups (of Steam games), as I have always just backup the....
But I'm pretty sure it backups the .grf files (not sure of extension) in the \Steam\Steamapps folder those files for the game again.

I don't know if that has its own backup function, so for those games I suppose you'd just have to copy/paste the installation....
But GreenManGaming use their own client, Capsule.
You can just burn that to a disc for your backup.
For each game.

I was thinking of buying a few of the DT addons but I am unsure on how they are downloaded from their website or if it is possible to re-download them incase I needed to reinstall them, can anyone give info on how this works?

Hi, In general for most 3rd party non steam purchases, you are sent an email with your invoice not download again so you need to backup the installer files onto removable disk or CD-R / DVD-R and look after their customers so if you lose....
