I'm trying to get steam support, but the support form is asking me for a CD key? CD key? What CD? I downloaded steam from the website. I don't remember having to use a CD key to install it?

It seems kind of weird that an official steam-game (be it not a steamworks-game) doesn't support terry but steam overlay could actually work automatically without any steamworks if a game support (at least XBox 360 compatible....
