Question on third string guitar? Hi I just bought an acoustic guitar and i noticed that on my guitar, the third string is steel; isn't it suppose to be a wounded string?

Of brown or goldish like acoustic steel strings? If they are electric guitar strings, they won't sound too great on a steel-string acoustic and should be replaced.

Are steel strings more demanding than nylons? I strung several classicals (saddles right angled to the neck) with light electric steels (downtuned) - the tuning of each string offered little to no margin for error, and the intonation, when off, was glaring...

String to classical guitars.
A good nylon/gut string guitar is built entirely differently than a good steel string.

How often do you guys change electric guitar strings? How often do you guys change electric guitar strings? Usually how fast does your new strings rotten? Any things to pay attention to to slow down the rotten process other than keeping your hands dry...

On my Floyded guitar, I keep them on forever, because when a string breaks guitar, I keep them on forever, because when a string breaks on those, I can just unwind some more months.

Hi, I love the intro to Pink Floyd's "breath" with its lazy but zingy sliding guitar sound, I also love country music steel guitar- pearly and gliding up and down with long harmonic sustains.
Is there any way to play a synth like this and get that sound...

You could definitely get pedal steel samples as well.
Omnisphere has some really great lap steel and guitar wash multi-samples.
