I put five coats of primer, five coats of colour then one of Halfords Lacquer and it killed the piastic.
Hi Rob, i have used Halfords Lacquer before mate and will never use it again on models.

Hey
I bought a car horn on halfords on April 11 2012, fitted it yesterday , no joy, so tested it off a 12 v source no sound
I went up to halfords today for a replacement but they said since I dont have proof of purchase they wont replace the faulty product...

Why spend a fortune on proprietary cleaners? You can get this stuff from Halfords or similar stores and I can vouch for it. Works better than many of the specialist products.
It's called Muc-Off and is meant for cleaning bikes.

Hi steve, hmmm ill have to get some of this stuff,im sure ive seen it in wilkinsons too.Ill get some from halfords next time im in getting some grey primer,matt black,white primer,appliance white!

Just a general question really. Would you change the primer colour according to the final colour, size of model etc, and for what reasons? I'm using Halfords Grey at the moment, but when would I be better off with white, or something else?

I like to keep to all by brush to finish .
With Halfords grey & Vallejo to see if there is any loss of detail one to the other.

Battery Terminal advice Howdy
I've just replaced my very dead battery with a newie and another of the small problems that raised its head obver the weekend was a very poor battery terminal.
