Okay,
So I have a stock exhaust from '08. It's been modded to make it louder.
It has been drilled out and cut open to remove the baffles. It's been welded up.
I am looking for a stock exhaust with no modifications for the '08 year of FZ6.

So i was chatting with a friend who said he does not see the need for running performance headers or bigger exhaust piping as the pressure of air entering the engine has not changed neither has the flow (intake manifold being ported) so i am getting additional...

From all accounts, the stock manifold is decent.
I suppose thats is true, but the stock system is restrictive for sound.
Is the engine stock? yes it is, 3rd gen 4age, oil cooled pistons etc, not a single mod has been done to it.

Hi Guys. I plan on keeping my stock exhaust. Would removing the SET valve while keeping the stock exhaust give me the benefits of smooth throttle? I dont care about the hp gain or loss. Let me know. Thanks. I did use the search button in vain though

Runs fine to me I will be getting a slip on eventually when I find stripped out ... .
So in order for me to get the smooth and I kept the exhaust stock.
Of a difference with the stock exhaust and it may even run a little worse.
