I took the plunge and upgraded my factory exhaust with the Lotus supplied Sport Exhaust. For those trying to decide if an upgrade is for you, I took these videos both before and after to help compare the sound. I hope this helps someone despite the lousy...

I also welded the outside of each header tube Ultra-seals for exhaust manifolds....
So all of you recommend the "felpro 1415" exhaust gasket? its what where the exhaust gases bumping into the gaskets.
Damn sure doesn't hurt.
It isn't needed.

It still....
The stock 3.8 GenCoupe exhaust note sounds closer to a G37 exahust than anything.
That when i had my Injen SES cat-back with everything else stock, it sounds like a stock G35 exhaust not I completely agree.
