Hi, I am posting because I'm not quite sure if I'm making something out of nothing or if I should being contacting my doctor. three days ago I had a bought with I assumed was a normal stomach bug. The family had been passing it around and it just happened...

Passed around a day and a half stomach bug, vomit and dhiarea once then all ok the next day.

Last Saturday- DD threw up at dinnertime.
Sun, Mon, Tues - Barely ate or drank and threw up.
Tues or Wed, I took her to the Dr - stomach bug. Not dehydrated.
Wed/Thurs - started eating and drinking again, acting normally but occassionally complaining ...

Strep can make them throw up.
The highest I saw was 100.4F.
She had a low fever.
It just seems REALLY LONG for a stomach bug to last.
Feel better.
Generally only couple days.
Can last 7-10 days.

Kept some ice cubes down so into the bathroom about every hour .
Hot n cold, aches, stomach sore from dry heaves.
Many times what folks call stomach flu it is, it just stinks.
Sounds like no fun at all.

This is a "do we send her or not?"
E threw up at school on Friday. We picked her up at 1:30.
She puked again at 4 that day..
She STTN and did fine on Saturday but didn't eat much. Puked 2x in the middle of the night.
Sunday she did fine- little appetite...

If you get very sick with vomiting, do you try to take your meds or skip them in fear of throwing them up?

I was afraid I would throw them up anyway so I didn't take them .
The other day I was so sick with projectile vomiting I didn't take my seroquel at night, it was the longest night of my life .

Stomach bug! Is anyone getting hit w/ the stomach bug? We've all had it twice and can't seem to get away from it! It's so gross! I'm such a Purell nut and germiphobe but it doesn't seem to help!
